A series of unfortunate events x-posted
1) While jumping up and down on a trampoline, Homebody dislocates his thumb.
2) On the way to the hospital, they encounter a huge traffic jam due to a horse fair on the next day.
3) On leaving the hospital, Neid, in the car, during the rain, through her hoodie, is stung by a wasp.

Basically, we had a great time in the country!

Point of Fashion: No time to think.
Current Obsession: sleepy

Also, does anyone have either the time to make me an animated gif LJ icon (I have the pics for it) or an easy tutorial for me to do it myself.

It was pretty funny actually. There is now a bit of joking about the bad luck kiwis (last weekend Homebody lost his wallet on the way to our house).

I wasn't wearing them by then... ooerr ;)

It was all fine and everyone was in good spirits. Just funny when you collect them all together like that.

I would also like to have gone to the horse fair, but it was on yesterday while I was at work. :(

He *still* not working? I know an NZ accountant based in Dublin, he said the recruitment agencies were beating down his door trying to get him work!

y'know, i found a website that had v easy instructions on that at one point. i think i just googled 'making animated LJ icon'. and if it's something that I could do (granted, it's not a v sophisticated icon), then you have no excuses! :P

buggery lot of bad luck there! i hope i didn't rub off on you after 4 hours on skype! *huggles*

Yeah, but *my* luck is fine ;)

I know I could google it, but I run out of time (I posted this about 2min before finishing work and then straight to friends house, home about 11.30pm). Plus, even easier if someone else does it for me :P

nah, i was just curious. :) i'm deeply engrossed in a couple of time-management games, and i suspect i will be going to bed soon cos we had to get up eeaaarly this morning. i forgot that you have internet time at work *l*

were you able to get to bigfishgames in the end? it has mucho food games (the online ones might be ok? i can't imagine you'd be able to d/l the others

I don't think I could get to those ones.

Yup, I have internets at work, but no interwebmail, no facebook, no instant messaging either. But LJ, LJ is my friend :)
